ONVOLTOOID VERLEDEN TIJD
This is the story of Lucy, a twenty-five-year-old teacher, who leads a quiet life in a small village in the heart of Flemish Limburg. She spends her days peacefully, dedicated to her work and her community. However, her world is completely turned upside down when one night she wakes up in a mass grave, deep in the woods, surrounded by trees. To her astonishment, she is the only survivor.
Lucy’s search for answers leads her to a neighborhood where soldiers in Wehrmacht uniforms walk among the local residents. She soon discovers that she has somehow traveled 80 years back in time, right in the midst of World War II. Her seemingly inexplicable journey into the past challenges everything she thought she knew about the world and her own reality.
The situation escalates when Lucy is discovered during her exploration. A violent chase ensues, but Lucy eventually wakes up again, this time back in her own time, in the present. What initially seemed like a nightmare turns out to be a shocking, unexplainable event that will change her life forever.
The story follows her journey of confusion, fear, and discovery as she tries to understand why she was sent to the past, what her connection is to the events she experienced, and how she can influence reality without losing her own existence.
Note: This project is my very first production and has already gained significant recognition. It has won several prestigious awards, marking a strong start in my career and fueling my passion to continue exploring new and compelling storytelling ideas.
The purpose of this project is to give a glimpse of what the series will look like. What you’re seeing is a teaser—a preview to show the tone, concept, and potential of the full series. It is just a first step in introducing the audience to the world of Lucy and the mysteries she will unravel.

“Zwart Verleden”
Is an intense historical film set during World War II, telling the complex and controversial story of Flemish volunteers who fought on the Eastern Front against the Red Army in the service of Nazi Germany. The film casts a critical light on the issues of collaboration and voluntary service in the German army, exploring the motivations, conflicts, and moral dilemmas faced by these young men.
At the heart of the story are François, Willem, and Joseph, three Flemish boys who, driven by idealism and a desire to fight for their country, leave their homeland to join the German forces on the Eastern Front. François, the idealist of the group, is determined to serve his homeland, despite the uncertainties of war. Willem, more pragmatic and realistic, begins to see the true nature of the conflict and struggles with the horrors he experiences. Joseph, the doubter, is initially confident but becomes increasingly torn by the violence around him and starts questioning the choices he and his friends have made.
The film follows their personal journeys through the horrors of war, the unimaginable decisions they must make, and the consequences of their actions, both on the battlefield and on their own moral compass. “Black Past” offers a nuanced portrait of the moral and psychological struggles these young men face as they confront the harsh realities of war and the question of whether they can still hold on to their ideals.
The film also explores the broader political and social context of World War II and the impact of collaboration on post-war Flemish society. How do these men’s choices affect not only their own lives but also the way society will view them after the liberation? How do they deal with the aftermath of actions that were often unimaginable, both in their eyes and those of others?
With immersive cinematography and deep character development, “Black Past” presents a layered and unsettling portrait of a dark period in history, where the line between good and evil is often unclear. The film raises questions about identity, loyalty, and accountability in times of extreme conflict, offering a powerful reflection on the choices we make in the shadow of war. The project is currently under development.
